This information was transcribed by me 27 June 2004 from digital images I took at Calvary (Baptist) Chapel, Brynmawr 21 May 2004.

This page of the church books contains the earliest events I found. Unlike later pages, it mixes baptisms, restorations, and persons received into the church by letter.

The original document is not formatted in columns. I have done it here for clarity.

Note that many lines contain reference to more than one person.

Words followed by (?) are not fully legible in my digital image and should be re-checked.

Some spellings are phonetic and nonstandard - e.g., Henreater = Henrietta, Luesea = Louisa, Gorge = George, etc.

Roman numerals indicate columns in a 2-page spread.

All information should be verified from the original or a cleaner digital image as soon as possible.
